Here’s How to Get Taylor Swift Tickets to the 2023-24 Eras Tour Dates (Even if They’ve Sold Out)

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Taylor Swift delighted fans when she released her new album Midnights and announced a new tour last year, but Swifties weren’t feeling happy right after, as overwhelming demand for Swift tickets caused Ticketmaster to cancel its public on-sale and prices to soar.

While Ticketmaster was the official selling partner for Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets , thousands of fans were previously left out of luck before the verified presale by Ticketmaster even ended. Fans had to sign up for the presale and be “invited” for a chance to buy tickets . And while the intention was good — no competing with bots for the best seats — few people actually got the chance to place an order.

And while Swift’s run of U.S. dates initially were scheduled to wrap up in Los Angeles, just as August started to already slip away, the star announced that the Eras Tour would make a comeback next fall and wintertime in 2024, with a slew of North American dates scheduled in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, before heading to Toronto for six dates at the Rogers Centre.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era 😝 Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!” Swift shared in a post on social media August 3.

Swifties who want to score Eras Tour tickets for the newly announced stops had to register using Ticketmaster ‘s Verified Fan registration , which closed on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. ET. Now, Ticketmaster’s Verified Onsale for Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis tickets have also since closed. If you didn’t get lucky enough to buy Taylor Swift tickets this round, here’s where else you might find stubs if they sell out.

Where to Buy Taylor Swift Tickets Online

Your best bet to find Swift tickets online now is likely to go through a reseller if you don’t get them through Ticketmaster ‘s Verified Fan registration and Verified Fan Onsale, with many of them offering discounts or promo codes that you can use for Taylor tix.

Our suggestion: Do a little price comparison between the sites to find the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets online, and check back closer to the concert date in case ticket holders are trying to unload their seats — that’s when you’ll likely get the cheapest tickets online.

1. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on StubHub

Taylor Swift tickets on StubHub previously started at around $300 for upper-level seats. While there isn’t an active StubHub promo online right now, the site does have one of the best policies in case Swift has to cancel one of her shows. If an event is canceled, the site will give you a StubHub credit for 120% of the amount you paid.

2. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on Vivid Seats

Tickets on VividSeats.com currently run between $430 and $550 for 500-level seats for Swift’s last few dates in Los Angeles, with cheaper tickets available for dates outside of the U.S. Use our exclusive  Rolling Stone  promo code  RS2023  at checkout to save $20 off your $200+ order through the mobile app. Vivid Seats also has a rewards program that lets you buy 10 tickets and get the 11th ticket free.

3. Find Taylor Swift Tickets on TicketNetwork

You might not be able to find Taylor Swift tickets on Ticketmaster, but we spotted great seats available on TicketNetwork.com . The resale site has seats from $511 online , which is not cheap but still one of the lowest prices we’re seeing for concourse-level tickets for Taylor Swift ( regular seats start in the $1,500 price point for some L.A. dates ). TicketNetwork also works with Affirm, so you can buy your tickets now and pay over time. Want a Taylor Swift discount code? You can use TicketNetwork ‘s promo code TNTIX saves you $10 off your order.

Find Taylor Swift Tickets on SeatGeek

We spotted many Taylor Swift tickets on SeatGeek as of this writing, and the site is usually a solid bet for resale tickets to popular concerts and events. It’s worth checking future dates if your city sells out. Use the SeatGeek promo code TAKE5 to get $5 off your ticket purchase. It’s not a huge discount but still a chance to get save on Taylor tix.

SeatGeek will also often offer other promo codes, if you’re looking for discounted Taylor Swift tickets, so we recommend keeping an eye out on their site.

(Note: All of these promo codes were live and verified at time of this article’s publishing.)

What Stage Setup Can You Expect at the Eras Tour?

If you’re stumped on which tickets to get, checking out the stage layout is pretty helpful, and super easy to find while you’re purchasing tickets. While each stage layout may differ slightly depending on the stadium, it looks like all will have a main stage, a walkway leading to a diamond-shaped smaller stage, and finally, a ramp leading to a rectangular mini-stage (see below for an example). Obviously, Eras Tour tickets surrounding the main stage will be the priciest but you might find some decent prices next to the secondary stages.

Swifties want to know how to get last-minute Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' tickets.

I Got Last-Minute Taylor Swift Eras Tour Tickets & You Can Too

Taylor, look what you made us do.

The great war is not just a Taylor Swift song, but what Swifties have been battling ever since tickets for the Eras Tour went on sale . However, you shouldn’t give up just yet. Instead of shaking it off, there are ways to get last-minute tour tickets. I should know, because I did it.

You’ve likely seen influencers who have been to multiple concerts while checking StubHub for resale tickets , and wondering how they are able to afford everything. With Swift recently kicking off the international leg of her tour , you have to factor in flights and hotel accommodations as well. Being a Swiftie is not cheap , but there are budget-friendly — and even free! — ways to get tickets. You just have to be willing to work for them.

Below, you’ll find all the methods to getting last-minute tickets to the Eras Tour — even some contests that will get you there for free and in style.

I Went The StubHub Route For My Eras Tour Tickets

This may be the more expensive route to secure last-minute Swift tickets, but it is the most accessible. If you’re banking prices going down, don’t! It used to be that you could refresh Ticketmaster or StubHub for resale tickets at a decent price a few hours before a show, but that’s not necessarily the case anymore. Now, you’ll see tickets with partial views and in the worst sections that are still overpriced after a concert has started.

I got last-minute tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

It’s a gamble you may not be willing to play. Instead, set a price range for yourself that you’d be willing to spend on tickets. The week before your show, keep refreshing sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, and even Gametime for resale tickets that are in that range. I set a price I was willing to pay before taxes and fees, and finally found one ticket while randomly checking StubHub right before bed. It can happen at any time of the day, so you have to be ready for it.

If you see something you’re willing to buy, go for it. You don’t want to be wishing you would’ve, could’ve, should’ve bought them once they’re gone. Just be mindful that certain international dates have rules on resale tickets .

Cities with a “lead booker” policy in place means those tickets are non-transferable, and the person who bought them must be present at the gate.

Ticketmaster May Drop Extra Tickets Before The Show, Too

Ticketmaster may drop last-minute tickets to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour for anyone looking in 2024.

Swifties have bad blood with Ticketmaster after they poorly handled the presale and canceled the general sale for The Eras Tour . During the U.S. leg of the tour, the company was also magically finding last-minute tickets to shows the week of and sometimes an hour after a show started . For anyone who doesn’t mind being glued to their computer and hitting the refresh button nonstop, you may want to keep checking Ticketmaster for spontaneous drops in 2024.

Some Swifties who were selected for verified fan presale have also reported that Ticketmaster has been sending out codes at least two weeks before each show as well for additional tickets. Just remember codes are tied to each Ticketmaster account , so if it wasn’t sent to you, you may not be able to use it.

Swifties on Twitter will let other fans know when Ticketmaster drops extra tickets, so it’s best to follow different accounts and turn on your notifications. One Twitter account that has been really great about keeping Swifties informed is Eras Tour Resell ( @ErasTourResell ).

You Can Find Fellow Swifties Selling Their Tickets At Face Value

Fans attending Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour know how to get last-minute tickets through Ticketmaster...

Eras Tour Resell has been doing the lord's work helping Swifties find tickets that aren’t a scam. Through their account, sellers can list extra tickets for The Eras Tour so that other Swifties can buy them instead of scalpers. They make sure to verify their listing, and encourage everyone to buy and sell their tickets for face value. While this is probably the cheapest way to buy last-minute Swift tickets, it is incredibly difficult.

Once a ticket is verified, Eras Tour Resell will tweet out all the information and who to DM to get it. Since their account has become so popular with nearly 231K followers, you have to be ready to jump on each post as soon as it goes up. That means you need to set Twitter notifications and have your phone on you at all times. Even if you are the first person to DM the seller, it’s not a guarantee they’ll pick you. The account also prioritizes tickets for shows that week, so if you’re looking for a concert next month, you probably won’t see it for awhile.

In addition to Swiftie resale accounts, look around Twitter, Craigslist, or even put a call out on your socials for tickets from other fans. Content creator and Swiftie Francis Dominic ( @francisdominiic ) has been to at least 12 shows already. When asked by one of his followers how he’s able to go to so many, he responded, “Ticketmaster, OfferUp, Twitter, Craigslist, and IG. I exhaust all of my resources.” The only downside to random resellers is you don’t have Eras Tour Resell to verify you’re not getting ripped off.

Lucky Ones Can Enter A Contest For Eras Tour Tickets

A Swiftie got last-minute Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets through a radio contest.

The cheapest way to snag last-minute Swift tickets is to win a contest. You’ve probably seen quite a few social media contests where you have to like, follow, and comment on an IG post in order to win tickets. While you may think the odds aren’t in your favor, there is still a chance.

Anna Tegarden ( @taylormermaidcat ) won tickets to one of Swift’s shows in Tampa, which is how she was able to see all three nights of the Eras Tour in Florida. Tegarden shares with Elite Daily, “I’m constantly entering contests and trying to win tickets. I’ll read the fine print to see if it’s an enter daily contest, or just a one-time entry.” She won her tickets through a radio contest where she had to call into a station after hearing two Swift songs in a row.

Say Hello To London With Unforgettable Travel’s VIP Giveaway

Unforgettable Travel has a VIP Taylor Swift giveaway for anyone looking for last-minute Eras Tour ti...

While Swift may be saying “So Long, London” on The Tortured Poets Department , you could be saying hello, thanks to Unforgettable Travel. The company has a Taylor Swift VIP Weekender Giveaway that will get you front row tickets to the Aug. 17 Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium.

In addition to the two tickets, the winner will receive flights to London, a two-night stay at Savoy Hotel, a guided tour of Swift’s favorite spots , £600 (or roughly $750) of spending money, Eras Tour merch, and dinner at Sketch, one of Tay’s go-to restaurants .

To enter, fill out the form now through March 31. Follow @unforgettabletravelcompany on Instagram and comment on their pinned post for an additional entry. The winner will be announced on April 1, so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare for your show in August.

Swifties have to work to find last-minutes Eras Tour tickets to see Taylor Swift in 2024.

With all these methods, finding a ticket to the Eras Tour is like a part-time job. You have to be willing to work hard, keep your phone with you at all times, and always be on the lookout. If you really want to scream-sing the bridge to “Cruel Summer,” admire Swift twirling in her folklore dress, and be there as she plays your fave song during the surprise acoustic set , let the ticket games begin.

Two of Swift’s The Eras Tour opening acts have been featured on her songs: Haim, who was featured on the “No Body, No Crime” from Swift’s 2020 album Evermore; and Phoebe Bridgers, who was featured on “Nothing New” from her 2021 album Red (Taylor’s Version) . “I got this random text from Aaron Dessner that was really weirdly worded for him,” she said. “And I was like, ‘What the fuck is this?’ And as I was reading it, I [realised], ‘Oh, my God, it’s from Taylor Swift,'” Bridgers told Billboard in 2022. “We started texting about all kinds of stuff. It was just a total high. It felt like when you meet someone at a party and you’re in the corner all night being like, ‘Me too!’”.

Hoping for last-minute Taylor Swift tickets? Things to know to get the best deal possible

John Gregory Image

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Hoping to get some last-minute tickets to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour? They aren't cheap, but there are some things you should know in order to get the best deal possible.

First off, if you can afford the prices you're seeing, you should buy now. You might be tempted to see if prices drop right before the concert, but according to StubHub, that's not happening with this widely-anticipated tour.

A representative we spoke with compared it to the Super Bowl and said it's difficult to predict how prices will change.

"Typically, though, we would say you'd want to avoid the weekend ones if you're looking for a little bit of a better price point. And then always, I know it's not as fun but the best prices are typically going to also be... buying a single ticket as opposed to a larger group quantity all together," said StubHub ticket expert Adam Budelli.

Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour makes 6-night stop at SoFi Stadium: What to know ahead of the show

affordable eras tour tickets

Other suggestions include setting a personal budget before you look at the prices, keeping in mind that most resale sites charge service fees and you may not see the fee until you're nearly done checking out - but that could make a big difference when comparing ticket prices on different sites.

And if you see people selling tickets outside SoFi Stadium, it might be a scam.

"The biggest thing to know off the bat is this is a mobile-only event, so first and foremost never buy tickets off the street. You don't want to pay in cash. You do want to use a trusted service, like StubHub, that has a ticket guarantee. It ensures that you have customer service and could work through any potential issues that there are."

At last check, these were the lowest ticket prices on the top resale sites for a single seat at Thursday's show at SoFi. They don't include service fees:

- StubHub: $646

- Vivid Seats: $860

- SeatGeek: $790

- Gametime: $763

- TickPick: $770

Another option to try is an account on X - formerly known as Twitter. It's called "Eras Tour Resell."

Three Taylor Swift fans started the page to help "Swifties" sell directly to other fans. The prices we've seen are significantly lower than the resellers - but you never know if something will become available.

The fans behind the page don't charge any fees, and while they do their best to weed out scammers, they make no promises about fraud protection.

Taylor Swift was born on Dec. 13, 1989 in Reading , Pennsylvania. She started writing songs at five years old, but her professional career started when she was 16. To pursue her dream of becoming a singer-songwriter, Swift's family moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee in 2006. Swift broke into the music industry as a country artist but would later transition into pop. She has come a long way since you could purchase a cheap ticket to one of her performances at the local fair.

Artistry and Career

Swift has not only been influenced by some of the best in the business, but she has also collaborated with leading artists as well. Music runs in the family -- Swift's grandmother was a professional opera singer. One of her early songs was based on her influencer Tim McGraw , who she would later go on to duet "Highway Don't Care," alongside other country artist Keith Urban . Swift is also famous for her impressive dating history of notorious relationships that would go on to inspire her music. She has dated performers like John Mayer , Harry Styles , and Calvin Harris . Plus, she runs with a famous "squad" of friends that includes performers like Ed Sheeran , Selena Gomez and Haliee Steinfeld . Swift has released numerous No. 1 hits over the span of her career. Some of the most notable hits that made Taylor Swift tickets so hot included: "Love Story," "Mean," "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "Shake It Off," and "Bad Blood." Swift's career boasts many impressive accomplishments, but in 2014 she became the first woman in history - and the first artist since the Beatles - to release three albums that sold more than one million copies in an opening week. These albums include: "Speak Now" (2010), "Red" (2012) and "1989" (2014). She has won several GRAMMY's and has been named Billboard Magazine's Woman of the Year and made Time Magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People in the World.

After signing with a new record label in 2018, Taylor teased throughout the year and early into 2019 that she would be dropping her seventh studio album. In April of 2019 she released the leading single from the album. “Me!” was a collaboration with lead singer Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco , and within days of its release it broke several records for both the single as well as the accompanying music video. The duo performed the single at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in a theatrical performance. Throughout the single and the music video Swift dropped hints for what is in store for the remainder of the album, leaving fans on the edge of their seat expecting another breakthrough album from the singer.

Back again with another tour, T-Swift announced Lover would be doing a worldwide tour. Lover , being Swift’s sixth No. 1 album, marked a milestone in the young stars career. The popularity of her music makes Swift the only woman to have six albums sell over 500,000 copies in a single week. The album features hit songs such as, “You need To Calm Down”, “The Man”, and of course, “Lover”.

Lover Fest: East and West is the title of the latest tour for the songwriter. Swift has performed in numerous countries in Europe, including Belgium, Germany, and France. With only four tour dates in the summer of 2020 in the U.S, you don’t want to miss your chance to see your favorite pop star! With her tour, Swift will mark history as the first woman to open an NFL stadium when she performs at SoFi Stadium . Besides her two performances on the West Coast in Inglewood CA , she will make two more in Foxborough Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium . To make this tour unique to all those before, Swift scouted for places she has yet to perform and for festivals. Where there weren’t any festivals, she made some and thus Lover Fest East and West was born!

Touring Throughout the Years

She has hosted several tours over the years like her Speak Now tour, The Red Tour, Fearless Tour, The 1989 World Tour and The Reputation Stadium Tour. Cheap Taylor Swift tickets were hard to find for the sold-out 1989 tour. It was wildly popular because the pop star brought famous talents to perform with her on stage like Vance Joy , Shawn Mendes , The Weeknd and Sam Hunt just to name a few.

The Eras Tour 2023

Following the monumental chart debut of Midnights , Taylor Swift announced her 2023 tour called Eras . The 27-date North American Tour will kick off at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ . The tour will have a series of rotating opening artists such as Paramore , Haim , Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers . After North America, Swift will be travelling all over the world, but those dates are yet to be announced!

One year ago, the crowd in Glendale, Arizona, erupted into a massive cheer in State Farm Stadium when Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" began playing and the backdrop screen transitioned to a countdown clock starting at 2:24.

None of the Swifties who traveled from all over the state of Arizona and the nation, dressed to the nines as one of her 10 eras, knew the tour would be three-plus hours. The fan screaming next to me from Pennsylvania who bought a ticket on StubHub.com for about $400 didn't know that we would go era-by-era through a 44-song track list. I don't think the singer, herself, knew when she hid inside a cleaning cart wheeled backstage, that her show would lead to a billion-dollar enterprise, Time magazine person of the year and an inundation of friendship bracelets. I didn't know the behemoth success following the Eras Tour star would send me packing from Phoenix to Nashville, Tennessee, to become the inaugural Taylor Swift reporter.

Swift's dancers flowed onto the stage through fog with pink, purple and orange parachute flaps. A compilation of songs from Swift's 10 albums — or eras — played as "it's been a long time coming" boomed into the stadium. Goosebumps covered the arms of thousands and tears cascaded down cheeks as the flaps revealed Miss Americana rising to begin her "Lover" set.

Eighty three shows later, here's a look back at the unprecedented tour that set a Guinness World Record . And fair warning, like her tour this article is an extensive rollercoaster.

Swept up in the hype, the world became Taylor Nation. Glendale, "Erazona ," was renamed "Swift City." Las Vegas lit up its arches in all 10 era colors. Arlington, Texas, dubbed one of its streets "Taylor Swift Way." Tampa, Florida, gave Swift a key to the city and invited her to be an honorary mayor. Houston renamed its venue "NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version)."

Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated a bench in Centennial Park to the hometown singer. A Philadelphia radio station, 96.5 FM (WTDY), renamed itself Ninety-Swift-Five W-T-A-Y. Gov. Philip D. Murphy dubbed the "Taylor Swift ham, egg and cheese sandwich" the "state sandwich of New Jersey." Chicago lit up the top of Willis Tower in her album colors. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey renamed his city "Swiftie-apolis," and Santa Clara, California, Mayor Lisa Gillmor switched the city's name to "Swiftie Clara."

Internationally, fans in Brazil caught the attention of Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes and Father Omar, the rector of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary, who arranged to project a  "Junior Jewels" inspired T-shirt  onto the Christ the Redeemer statue. Flinders Station in Melbourne , Australia, flashed a wallpaper glaze of lights to welcome the Eras star. Singapore painted the Marina Bay Sands Resort all colors of vibrant lights.

It's a cruel summer with you

All four seasons met the fifteen dancers, four backup singers, six bandmates and hundreds of production and crew members, adding unpredictable weather to the mix. Mother Nature danced in a lightning storm to "Fearless" in Tampa and made the song "Midnight Rain" a reality in Nashville . Rain poured through the open-roofed stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where Swift pushed puddles forming on her piano . The Swiftie fandom created its own natural phenomenon in Seattle after a seismologist registered a 2.3 magnitude earthquake on her Richter scale.

The intense heat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, caused Swift to throw water bottles to fans and temporarily halt her show. Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed out and died of heat exhaustion. The heartbreaking news prompted changes at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos to allow fans access to water. Swift invited Benevides' family to her concert in São Paulo.

I want you to think of the memories made

Swift incorporated custom messages into each tour stop. At her international destinations, she welcomed fans in their custom languages. "Bienvenidos al Eras Tour," she said in Mexico City before hoisting her hands in the air. While donning either her pink or blue guitar before the title track of "Lover," she commonly announced the stadium attendance often record-breaking.

Outside of stadiums, thousands "Taylorgated," or showed up without a ticket to hear Swift's beats and dance on the concrete. Tens of thousands more logged on to watch livestreams from fans with tickets who agreed to spend concert time holding up their mobile devices in a tricep-burning position.

The number of viewers would jump before the "Champagne Problems" speech and acoustic set. To keep things fun and interesting each night, fans filled out "Swiftball" ballots guessing the singer's outfits from four "Lover" bodysuits and accompanying "The Man" jackets, three "Fearless" dresses, two "Evermore" dresses, six "Speak Now" gowns, three bedazzled "22" shirts, five "Folkore" dresses, four "1989" crop top and skirt combos, six "Midnights" T-shirt dresses, three "Midnight Rain" body suits and four "Karma" faux fur jackets. To see how many times the Eras star wore each outfit, check out the "Data Swiftie."

For fans who wanted to get alerts to watch the shows without having to calculate time changes, Swift Alert became the app for that .

Double clap, audience chants

A secret language formed between fans and Swift as new traditions popped up along the tour. The four lines fans screamed at the top of their lungs, no matter the city or country, were "cause shade never made anybody less gay" in "You Need To Calm Down," "what a shame she's f----d in the head" in "Champagne Problems," "f--- the patriarchy" in "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" and "don't call me kid, don't call me baby" in "Illicit Affairs."

Swift started every show strong with a very important question: Did her fans know the bridge to "Cruel Summer?" "Prove it!" she'd yell at some stops and the audience would, every single time, bellow, "I'm drunk in the back of the car." For "The Archer," fans printed and dispersed signs that read, "We will stay," to hold up when Swift asks, "Who would stay?"

In the "Fearless" era, fans double clapped with "13" drawn on the back of their hands in the middle of the bridge to "You Belong With Me." A trend of marriage proposals during "Love Story" picked up during the 2024 leg with partners popping the question as Swift sang, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring."

During "Marjorie," Swifties turned their phone flashlights on in tribute to Swift's grandma. Fans started timing the standing ovation and ear-shattering applause after "Champagne Problems." Livestreamers, like Tess Bohne , would display a clock and fans guessed if the cheers would surpass one, two or three minutes.

A snake shape slithered through the light-up braceklets handed out before the show at the start of the "Reputation" era. Fans yelled "1, 2, 3, let's go b----" before the first verse of "Delicate" as Swift counts on her fingers. Later in the song, Swift sings, "Do the girls back home touch you like I do?" and fans reply, "No, they don't." On rare occasion, Swift would let out a three-note riff during her "Don't Blame Me" belt.

After rereleasing her third album, the "Speak Now" singer added "Long Live" to the set list, bringing the total to 45 tracks. In the first verse when she croons "the crowds and stands went wild," the crowd indeed went wild.

In the "Red" era, Swift crowned a deserving fan with a black fedora during "22." They were typically children, but one adult Swiftie was crowned in Melbourne . Dancer Kameron Saunders had the only speaking line on the tour besides Swift during her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." He said "like ever" at the American shows, but when the tour went international, he switched up the phrase each night. And yes, we track that. Swift knew all too well each crowd had "10 minutes to spare," and she played her longest song, in total, for about 14 hours.

She was only tied to the "Invisible String" for five shows and traded the opening "Folklore" era number to "The 1" in Arlington, before news of her split from actor Joe Alwyn . She brought "Invisible String" back for one night in Nashville because the Tennessee capital is home to Centennial Park. Nashvillians also noticed that Swift switched a note during "The 1" lyric "you meet a woman on the internet and take her home." She kept the key change for every succeeding show.

Right before the first lyric of "Style" during the "1989" set, fans began a tradition of saying, "What time is it?" to which the singer replied, "Midnight, you come and pick me up." In Sydney, Australia, a "Blank Space" chant from the 1989 World Tour was reborn and repeated in Singapore. Taylor Nation, Swift's marketing team, tweeted that it hopes fans at every tour stop going forward shout their city. In Philadelphia, a "Bad Blood" remix originated when Swift noticed a security guard hassling a fan . "She's fine. She wasn't doing anything. Hey! Stop! Hey, stop!" became the cool thing to say after, "It's so sad to think about the good times, you and I." Fans also incorporated a Kendrick Lamar line from the "Bad Blood" remix: "You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go."

And then came the surprise set . (More on her collaborators and announcements below.) Each night, Swift performed one song on the guitar and one on the piano that she hadn't yet performed on the tour. That is until 2024, when she added mashups and threw out her rule of never repeating songs. At the end of the set, she swan dives into a hole in the stage. Fans later caught a red light that turned green to signal it was safe to jump.

After meeting her at "Midnights," fans sang Jack Antonoff's version of "Anti-Hero." When Swift sings "tale as old as time," the crowd chimes in, "Taylor, you'll be fine." Tyler Conroy made a viral video of him screaming , "Where you going Taylor?" during "Bejeweled" before she sings, "I'm going out tonight," and the trend caught on like a blaze ripping through the Lover house. Finally, after Swift changed the lyrics to, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," in Argentina with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the crowd, that became the standard for fans. She has only sang it that way four times, when he was in attendance in Buenos Aires, Sydney and Singapore.

If you would direct your attention to the back screen

In addition to boosting economies everywhere she went, Swift created an abundance of news. She announced "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" in Nashville. She announced a new version of "Midnights" and premiered the "Karma (Remix)" music video featuring Ice Spice as the upstart rapper joined Swift in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" right before her Kansas City, Missouri, stop and then debuted the "I Can See You" music video starring Taylor Lautner and Joey King who were at the show. Lautner backflipped on the catwalk.

It might have seemed strange that Swift ended the American leg of her tour on a Wednesday in Los Angeles, but not to the eagle-eyed Swiftie who realized the date was 8/9. That's the day she announced the rerecording of her fifth album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)." The album came out during her break before her Argentina tour dates. It topped the Billboard charts and allowed her to bypass Elvis for the most weeks with an album at No. 1.

Then, she announced her 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," at the Grammys after winning her 13th career award. At her tour stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, she revealed there were four total versions of "Tortured Poets" and told fans they would get a different bonus track on each one : "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," "The Albatross" and "The Black Dog."

Welcome to the acoustic set

One of the most anticipated portions of an Eras Tour show is the acoustic set. At most of the concerts, she only spoke before the guitar song. In rare instances, she tested the microphone before the piano song and made an announcement.

Occasionally she invited collaborators to join her onstage. Marcus Mumford surprised fans in Las Vegas to play "Cowboy Like Me." Her co-producer and close friend Aaron Dessner from The National joined her six times on stage, in Tampa (twice), Nashville, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Santa Clara. Jack Antonoff came out to play "Getaway Car" in New Jersey. Maren Morris did a "You All Over Me" duet in Chicago. When their opening acts were canceled for weather, Gracie Abrams performed "I Miss You, I'm Sorry" and Sabrina Carpenter sang a dyad mashup of "White Horse" and "Coney Island."

Some of the surprise songs came with hidden messages. Fans speculated she sang "Bigger Than The Whole Sky" as an ode to a fan who died , "End Game" to Travis Kelce watching her show from the VIP tent and "Gold Rush" as a congratulations to Jason Kelce for retiring. She has performed "You're On Your Own Kid" five times, in Tampa, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Tokyo and Singapore.

And he never thinks of me, except when I'm on TV

To close out the first year of the Eras Tour, Swift released the third film version of her concert to streaming service Disney+. This version included "Cardigan" and four acoustic songs: "Maroon," "Death By A Thousand Cuts," "You Are In Love" and "I Can See You."

The second version came out on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13. Fans could rent it for 48 hours at a price of $19.89, and it included "The Archer," "Wildest Dreams" and "Long Live" cut from the original movie.

The original movie was released Oct. 13, in the middle of the Hollywood strikes. Swift did what studios and streaming services were unable to: make a deal with SAG-AFTRA. She worked with the unions and was able to market and show her movie how she saw fit. The film made more than $250 million globally and got her nominated for a Golden Globe award .

Would you be interested in one more song?

If you're still with me on this walk down Eras Tour Lane, it's important to make one final note before the tour resumes in Paris in May. Before her magnum opus took off higher than the "Bad Blood" flames, Swift chose "Mirrorball" and "Tim McGraw" to be her very first surprise songs. She ended year one with the same two songs, but flipped the instruments she played them on in a full-circle moment.

Her new album will come out April 19 and the full Eras Tour is streaming on Disney+, which begs the question: What her show will look like come Paris? She has a two-month break before 69 shows scheduled for Europe and North America. She also has two rerecords left to release: "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" and her self-titled debut album.

If there's one thing any Swiftie knows, it's Taylor Swift's ability to make news and create lasting memories through her record-shattering tour. What a first year; on to year two!

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Hits One Year, Let’s Take a Look at Its Staggering Numbers

O n March 17, it will officially have been one year since Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz. In the 12 months since that fateful first show, Swift has broken untold records , made history as TIME's 2023 Person of the Year , cultivated a new legion of NFL fans , and announced her forthcoming 11th studio album— The Tortured Poets Department , out April 19—among a litany of other accomplishments.

By the end of 2023—less than halfway through its scheduled 152-show run—the Eras Tour had earned over $1 billion to become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. During that period, every city where Swift played got a substantial economic boost from the so-called "Taylor Swift effect," a term that refers to the singer's unprecedented ability to influence consumer behavior. Following the inaugural U.S. leg of Eras, the U.S. Travel Association estimated that the tour's total economic impact likely exceeded $10 billion.

In the new year, Swift's staggering popularity seems to somehow still be on the rise. Less than a week after watching her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, win the Super Bowl, Swift played to the biggest concert crowd of her career while performing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia during the first run of 2024 Eras dates, following four shows in Tokyo.

In honor of the first anniversary of the start of the Eras Tour, we're taking a numerical look back at the biggest year of Swift's career to date.

Read More: 2023 Person of the Year: Taylor Swift

Number of Eras shows and cities

Swift will have played 83 shows across 30 cities as of March 17. Of those shows, 53 took place in the U.S. in 20 different cities stateside. The remaining 30 were part of the Latin America and Asia-Pacific legs of the tour. By the end of 2024, Swift is set to play a grand total of 152 Eras shows across 54 cities worldwide.

Number of surprise songs

In addition to her 40-plus-song set list, Swift has played at least two "surprise songs" per Eras show. Taking repeats into account, she has performed 145 different tracks (counting mashups of repeat songs as unique entries) as her 167 surprise offerings.

Number of special guests

From MUNA to Sabrina Carpenter to Haim, Swift's Eras stops have featured 10 different opening acts. She has also brought out eight other special guests, from Maren Morris to frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, to join her on stage at various shows.

Number of people in attendance at her biggest show to date

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour - Melbourne, Australia

Swift played three back-to-back shows at MCG on Feb. 16, 17, and 18 that were each attended by a record 96,000 people for a three-day total of 288,000 concertgoers. Ed Sheeran, who drew a crowd of around 109,500 each of the two nights he played at MCG in 2023, still holds the venue's single-night attendance record. But that's largely due to the fact that Swift's stage setup took up more room in the arena, cutting down on the number of available seats.

Number of Eras tickets sold

Swift sold an estimated 4.35 million tickets across 60 tour dates within concert trade publication Pollstar's chart year of Nov. 17, 2022 to Nov. 15, 2023. That's an average of 72,500 tickets per show, with each ticket costing an average of $238.95. Using those numbers to extrapolate across shows played since then, Swift has likely now sold around 6.02 million tickets.

Total Eras Tour gross

Based on the approximately $17.32 million in ticket revenue Pollstar estimates Swift earned for each of the first 60 Eras dates, her total tour gross currently sits somewhere around $1.44 billion. By the end of 2024, the tour is expected to have brought in an astronomical $2.165 billion. For comparison, the second-highest grossing tour of all time, Elton John’s multi-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, sold six million tickets over the course of 328 shows to earn $939 million.

Total Eras merch revenue

Taylor Swift Fans Descend On Melbourne Cricket Ground

According to reports from different venues, Pollstar estimates Eras attendees were spending an average of $40 per person on merch at the first 60 Eras shows. That puts Swift's tour merch revenue at an estimated $240.8 million—not including non-concert day purchases—following her first run of 2024 Eras dates.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour box-office earnings

Since its Oct. 13 release in theaters, Swift's record-breaking three-and-a-half-hour concert film has grossed $180,756,269 in North America and $261,656,269 globally at the box office. An extended edition of the movie became available to rent via video on demand services on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13, followed by the longest and most complete version of the film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , arriving on streaming on Disney+ March 14.

Number of new songs

Since the Eras Tour began, Swift has released two re-recorded albums, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , and one new single, "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)," for a total of 45 new songs (including re-recorded songs and vault tracks). In their first week of sales, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , which featured one Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which featured seven Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits, sold 716,000 equivalent album units and 1.653 million equivalent album units, respectively. "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)" tallied 8.7 million official streams and sold 19,000 downloads in the U.S. in the first two days after its Nov. 29 debut, according to Luminate .

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Concert Film: How to Watch and What to Know

The flick promises new acoustic performances and previously deleted songs from Swift's other versions of the film.

affordable eras tour tickets

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film has officially landed on Disney Plus. In anticipation of the Thursday night release, Swift had dropped an early preview of her new performance of Cardigan and announced the names of the other new acoustic performances leading up to the release.

In celebration of the release, Disney Plus' home page has gotten a very Taylor Swift makeover. As of Friday afternoon, Disney Plus has curated nine categories based on Swifts' eras (notably, the singer's debut era was left out). For example, one of the brand new categories is Reputation (Disney's Version) and features the films Cruella, Avengers Endgame and The Empire Strikes Back.

The first version of the Eras Tour movie hit theaters late last year, and became the  highest-grossing concert film  ever, as reported by Variety. Then it was available to rent on demand. Now Disney Plus' version of the film promises new performances, and says goodbye to some fan favorites.

Are you ready for it ? If not, we've got you covered. Here's everything we know about the new concert film, how to watch Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), and why a VPN might be a useful tool for streaming.

What's new in the Disney Plus version of the film?

Disney Plus' version of the flick will feature Swift's performance of Cardigan, which was previously cut from the theatrical release of the movie, and four additional acoustic songs. You can check out a preview of the Cardigan performance here , in an exclusive early clip on Apple's App Store. Swift had also released the names of the four new acoustic performances leading up to Thursday's release on ABC's  Good Morning America (also owned by Disney). Now that the film has officially dropped, we know that the four acoustic songs featured in the Disney Plus version of the film are I Can See You, Death By A Thousand Cuts, You Are in Love and Maroon (which is accompanied by another performance of You're On Your Own Kid). It's important to note that these songs are included at the end of the film, after the credits.

Swift  recorded  six acoustic songs during filming in August, and the performances of Our Song and You're on Your Own, Kid made both the theatrical and on-demand rental versions of the film. Now, all six performances have found their way into the concert flick, which is an extra treat for super fans like ourselves.

Songs excluded from the Disney Plus cut of the movie include Long Live, The Archer, Wildest Dreams and No Body, No Crime.

Double-check that you've followed installation instructions correctly and you've picked the right geographical area for viewing. If you still encounter connection problems, you may need to reboot your device. Close all apps and windows, restart your device and connect to your VPN first. Note that some streaming services have restrictions on VPN access.

Correction, Feb. 9 : An earlier version of this story misstated the number of Taylor Swift's studio albums. The Tortured Poets Department, set for release in April, will be her 11th studio album.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour sets a new Disney Plus record but its popularity is nothing compared to Netflix

I t's not exactly a huge surprise, but Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has become the most watched music film in Disney Plus ' history, with 4.6 million views in the first three days alone. Over its opening weekend, Disney says that Swifties (and a fair few hate watchers, we imagine) watched 16.2 million hours of the epic concert show.

According to Variety , Disney Plus paid "more than $75 million" for the streaming rights, adding to the $261.7 million theatrical revenues that have already made The Eras Tour the highest-grossing concert film to date.

If you haven't seen the streaming version because you've already been to the movies for it, it's worth tuning in (even if we don't rate among the best Disney Plus movies ). There are more songs in the streaming version than in the theatrical release or the digital release, which added Wildest Dreams, The Archer and Long Live ; the Disney Plus version also has Cardigan, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Maroon, You Are in Love and I Can See You.

The numbers are incredible for a concert movie (check out these three great concert movies if you're looking for a new one to watch) but as Kasey Moore of What's on Netflix points out, they're not big enough to top the global streaming numbers. It looks like that's one chart that even Taylor can't top.

Taylor Swift vs Netflix: who's winning the streaming wars?

Posting on X/Twitter , Moore pointed out that while Taylor's viewing numbers are impressive, other titles are still getting more views: "For comparison in its first three days last week Damsel had 35.3 million views," Moore explained. "In fact, last week [ The Eras Tour ] would've sat fifth on the top 10 list alongside the Equalizer 3 ."

So how does a concert movie considered by many (hello!) as one of the best ever made and with 99% on the Tomatometer get trounced in the streaming stakes by a mediocre movie we said was "a dud" and which has a comparatively woeful 56% from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes?

The explanation is pretty simple. First of all, movies have wider appeal than concert movies. And secondly, Netflix has a lot more eyeballs than Disney Plus. According to Neilsen's 2024 figures, Disney Plus' viewing share among smart TVs and TV connected devices is 1.9% compared to Netflix's 7.8%. That's a lot of TVs and a lot of viewers.

In other words, comparing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour with Damsel is interesting but pretty much pointless: they're different things, made for different audiences, on different services, and I suspect the viewing numbers for Taylor will continue to climb because the show has re-watchability that the movie lacks. In other words – oh yes – I think for Disney Plus the viewing figures are, and will continue to be, beyond their Wildest Dreams.

Anthony Albanese accepted free tickets to Taylor Swift’s sold-out Sydney concert last month, one of several federal politicians who were gifted passes to the hotly anticipated Eras tour.

The prime minister declared “I’m a Swiftie” when the American pop star swept through Australia in February. He has now declared receiving tickets to her performance, disclosing “tickets to Taylor Swift concert in Sydney from Universal Music Group” under the “travel and hospitality” heading on his parliamentary register of interests.

Universal is Swift’s record label.

Albanese was captured on video by a fellow concertgoer at Swift’s Sydney gig, dancing along to Shake It Off alongside his fiancee, Jodie Haydon. The pair, amid a crowd of other fans, appeared to be on the balcony of one of the corporate boxes at Accor Stadium.

The sports minister, Anika Wells, also recently disclosed “two Tickets to Taylor Swift- The Eras Tour” on her register of interests, adding that she was “guest of Frontier Touring” – the promoter of the tour.

Alison Byrnes, the first-term Labor MP for the Illawarra seat of Cunningham, also attended Swift’s Sydney concert – courtesy of her husband, Paul Scully, a New South Wales state Labor MP and minister for planning and public spaces.

“My husband, Paul Scully MP, received two tickets and hospitality for the Taylor Swift concert at Accor Stadium Sydney on 25 February 2024. I attended as his guest,” Byrnes wrote on her federal interests register.

The federal Greens leader, Adam Bandt, declared four tickets to Swift’s Melbourne concert “at MCG from Frontier Touring.” His update to the register was dated Monday 25 March and uploaded to the register of interests on Tuesday after this article was first published.

Other federal politicians posted photos online attending Swift’s concerts, including Coalition MPs Andrew Wallace, Hollie Hughes and the former prime minister Scott Morrison.

Wallace’s office said he paid for tickets for himself and his family to attend a Melbourne concert; the member for the Queensland seat of Fisher ran a campaign online asking the singer to perform in his state. Hughes said her tickets were a Christmas gift from a family friend.

During the leadup to Swift’s Australian tour, when her performances were a leading news item for many media outlets, the prime minister spoke often of the American singer. On Nova radio, Albanese declared “I’m a Swiftie”. On Kyle and Jackie O’s program on KIIS FM, he said he would be attending the Sydney concert.

The deputy Liberal leader, Sussan Ley, at the time challenged the prime minister to give up his ticket to “a real Swiftie” instead.

Guardian Australia reported last month on federal politicians accepting dozens of free tickets over the summer to cricket and tennis matches, horse races and concerts from large companies, sporting organisations and alcohol brands.

Since then, more politicians have disclosed free tickets to popular events.

The Liberal MP Karen Andrews disclosed two tickets to Pink’s Gold Coast concert, courtesy of the Gold Coast Suns. Tony Burke, the federal minister for employment and the arts, disclosed a list of gifts including tickets to corporate suites for Paul McCartney and the Foo Fighters last year, courtesy of Frontier Touring and Sony Music respectively, as well as accommodation at the Woodford folk festival, and tickets to Womadelaide, Wicked and the Handa Opera.

The health minister, Mark Butler, also disclosed tickets to Womadelaide. The Labor MP Cassandra Fernando disclosed two tickets to dinner and a soccer game, courtesy of the Melbourne City Football Club. The resources minister, Madeleine King, received tickets to the Seven West Media corporate box for the WWE Elimination Chamber wrestling event in Perth.

Wells, in her register, disclosed tickets to SailGP from Australian Sailing, and two tickets to a Brisbane Broncos NRL match. The trade minister, Don Farrell, accepted two tickets and hospitality to the Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival, from marine transport provider Sealink. The shadow resources minister, Susan McDonald, disclosed domestic travel, convention registration and accommodation from the Minerals Council of Australia as she attended the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada convention in Toronto.

There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

SINGAPORE: A man who pushed aside a ticket-holding Taylor Swift concertgoer then held onto a turnstile to let three people without tickets into the venue was sentenced to six weeks' jail on Friday (March 22).

Li Xiaowei, a 45-year-old Chinese national, pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal trespass.

In sentencing, District Judge Hairul Hakkim Kuthibutheen referenced a song by the American singer-songwriter and emphasised that Li had made “unlawful contact with a legitimate concertgoer”.

“Foreshadowing Taylor Swift’s hit song I Knew You Were Trouble, (Li) entered the National Stadium with the intent of committing the offence,” the judge said.

Two men charged over helping 3 people enter Singapore's Taylor Swift concert without tickets

What happened .

Li arrived in Singapore on Feb 29, 2024 on a social visit pass, his first visit here. He had no air ticket out of Singapore.

On Mar 1, 2024, a group of three, Shangguan Linmo, 25, Hu Zhijun, 21 and Yang Junhao, 23, had departed from Wuhan to Penang for a holiday.

While on board one of their connecting flights, an unknown person on the flight had approached Ms Shangguan and asked if she was interested in buying three Singapore Eras Tour tickets for 4,000 yuan (about S$755) each.

When she said she was interested, the unknown person told her he knew a contact in Singapore who could secure three VIP tickets that were “free seating in nature”, said Deputy Public Prosecutor Darren Ang.

He also told the woman that if she was unable to enter the concert using those tickets, he would provide them with spare tickets and shared his WeChat contact and that of a 29-year-old male, Yang Chenguang.

Three days later, on Mar 4, the trio boarded a flight to Singapore, intending to attend the Singapore Eras Tour concert on the same evening.

Sometime that evening, Li entered the person check security area that Taylor Swift concert goers were required to pass through for a bag check, before scanning their tickets at a turnstile leading into the National Stadium.

Yang Chenguang,  whose case is still before the courts , also entered the security area and met up with the trio.

Court documents did not state the nature of the relationship between Li and Yang, or how they knew each other.

Yang instructed one of the trio to pay 12,000 yuan to an Alipay user “Xue Mei” for three tickets. Court documents stated that the amount was refunded the next day.

Li and Yang   met up outside Gate 3 and conversed, while the three people planning to attend the concert waited for around 10 minutes as they talked.

Yang then walked the area behind the crowded Gate 3 and looked towards the turnstile gates to identify an opportunity for the trio to tailgate a concert-goer into the stadium.

When he noticed there were no security officers stationed behind the three left-most turnstiles as there was a commotion in the vicinity of another gate, Yang brought Li’s attention to that turnstile.

Li then walked to that turnstile where two female concert goers were queuing to scan their tickets.

At the same time, Yang allegedly squeezed through the queues and approached the only security officer stationed at that set of turnstile gates and distracted him.

Li's role was to enable the trio to tailgate one of the concert goers with legitimate tickets into the stadium. He pushed aside one of the concertgoers during the period the security officer was distracted.

He then signalled to the trio to come toward him and held onto the turnstile to prevent it from rotating into a locked position, and pushed the trio through the turnstile.

After the group entered the stadium, Yang and Li made to leave. The concertgoer who had been pushed repeatedly called the security guard's attention by shouting, “Excuse me!”.

Noticing this, Li pushed her on her back to try and get her through the turnstile but was unable to do so. He held onto her hands and shook them aggressively, asking her why she was shouting.

The concertgoer who had passed through the turnstile before her noticed that Li was touching her, and asked him to stop, after which he walked away.

She then told the security guard that three people had tailgated her into the stadium, and the security guard left to find the trio unsuccessfully.

The incident was caught on the closed-circuit television at the venue. Following a police report, the police were dispatched on the scene and Li and Yang were arrested.

During police investigations, two screenshots depicting Eras Tour tickets dated Mar 2 and Mar 4 were found on Li’s phone.

The Mar 4 ticket was a false ticket that stated that date was a Saturday instead of a Monday and had an “uncharacteristically large” number 4, said Mr Ang.

He added that Li had no satisfactory explanation for why the two ticket screenshots were on his phone and Yang had sent Ms Shangguan an almost identical false ticket over WeChat on Mar 4.

This week, Yang was handed a fresh charge of cheating one of the alleged trespassers into believing he was purchasing genuine Eras Tours tickets.

The pair were not the first to have been charged with helping people illegally enter the Taylor Swift concert venue, as  54-year-old Wu Zhihong  was jailed for two weeks on Monday for a similar offence.

For committing criminal trespass, Li could have been jailed for up to three months, received a fine of up to S$1,500 or face both punishments.
