Brit Floyd will be offering an incredible VIP Meet & Greet Soundcheck package for all our 2022 shows!

On arrival at the venue at 5 pm on the show day, each guest will be given a special Brit Floyd VIP Meet and Greet Soundcheck Experience tour pass and lanyard and will have an exclusive opportunity to browse through all the show merchandise and to chat to the show personnel pre show.

The VIPs will then be invited by Brit Floyd’s tour manager into the venue auditorium for the private soundcheck experience. Brit Floyd’s musicians will treat the VIP audience to a special bonus performance of two classic Pink Floyd songs not featured in the evening show, and then afterwards will come down from the stage to meet all the guests.

The musicians will be happy to chat with the VIPs, sign merchandise, and have photos taken. Brit Floyd fans can expect to be treated to a memorable and personal experience!

Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason Shares New 2022 North American Tour Dates

Pink Floyd co-founder and drummer Nick Mason has announced the rescheduled dates of his North American tour with his band, Saucerful of Secrets. The dates, now scheduled for the fall, had been planned to begin in mid-January but were postponed citing “uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic.” The North American tour, with the band performing early Floyd classics, now begins on Sept. 22 following an extensive tour of the U.K. and Europe this spring and summer. (The U.K. shows had been delayed for a third time due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.)

Eight dates have been added to the North American run, though the re-routing required that concerts in Cincinnati, St. Louis, Memphis, KC, Sacramento and Spokane needed to be canceled. See the full itinerary below. Tickets for the concerts are available here .

“We are really looking forward to returning to North America and we’re happy to be able to now announce these new dates for later this year,” said Nick Mason in the March 21 announcement. “We wanted to make sure to come back when it’s safe for our fans, the band, and our crew.”

Mason released a live album in autumn 2020, recorded in London. The 22-track collection, titled Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets Live at the Roundhouse , is available in a variety of formats. The concerts on the recordings took place in May 2019.

As Mason noted when he first formed the combo, “With the help of some like-minded friends, I have embarked on a voyage of discovery of the music that was the launch pad of Pink Floyd and my working life. It seems too early to retire, and I missed the interaction with other musicians.”

He is the only constant member of Pink Floyd, performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets are Mason, Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp, longtime Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, guitarist Lee Harris and keyboardist Dom Beken.

The group played their first gigs at four intimate live shows at London’s Dingwalls and The Half Moon in Putney in May 2018. These were Mason’s first live musical outings since Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour in 1994, and the show at Dingwalls was his first since Pink Floyd played at the 2005 Live 8 concert in London.

The band went on to sell-out theaters around the world including three nights at London’s Roundhouse, where Pink Floyd played some of their most revered early shows in the 1960’s.

In April 2019, Mason’s longtime bandmate, Roger Waters, joined him on stage.

The 2022 tour will see the band further expand their repertoire and will play songs from Pink Floyd’s early catalog up to the 1972 album Obscured by Clouds .

Brit Floyd “World Tour 2022”: “Echoes” Takes Center Stage

Fans of the legendary British progressive rock band Pink Floyd will have numerous opportunities to hear their music performed live in 2022. Of course, they will be able to catch original Floyd members Roger Waters and Nick Mason showcasing their classic songs with Roger's solo tour of the U.S. and Nick's Europe tour later this year. But also, a small handful of seasoned Floyd-themed bands, including the international touring unit Brit Floyd , have major 2022 tours on deck in North America. So much Floyd, so little time!

Brit Floyd – now with more than ten years of road experience under their belt – have another fully-booked year ahead in 2022. And, in fact, the North American leg of their “World Tour 2022” is already under way, having just kicked off on the East Coast in mid-March. Then, after more than 60 dates in the U.S. and Canada, the band will shift to Europe in Fall 2022 for a clutch of about 25 shows in various countries.

First having come onto the touring scene in 2011, Brit Floyd have become a perennial favorite among Floyd fans worldwide, and for multiple reasons. First, they load their shows with many obvious, must-hear PF songs. As part of the total experience, they also replicate PF’s dramatic lighting and multimedia effects with their own twists. But, most important, the shows stay musically fresh through rotation of non-hit album tracks, from tour to tour. In short, nothing is off the table with Brit Floyd.

According to the band’s founder, lead guitarist and musical director Damian Darlington, audiences can always count on Brit Floyd for chunky servings of favorites – such as “Money,” “Shine on You Crazy Diamond,“ “Learning to Fly,” “Run Like Hell,” “Wish You Were Here” and “One of These Days.” Yet, adds Darlington, who helps to craft the band’s set lists, serious fans can expect their fair share of deep Floyd, too.

“Obviously, we can’t leave folks behind by going too deep,” says Darlington, noting that the BF repertoire reflects all Floyd eras, from the first album with songs by founder Syd Barrett through the post-Roger Waters years.

“We’ve performed quite a few [pre-Dark Side] songs, such as ‘Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun’,” he says, explaining BF’s focus on variety and the element of surprise. In fact, over the past 11 years, they have revisited nearly every PF album, including Floyd’s 2014 swan song The Endless River. “People who attend more than one tour hear new things each time. And it’s more interesting for us, too.”

During their earlier tours, Brit Floyd had followed the crowd-pleasing route, performing classic albums, including Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, in their entirety. Yet, in time, BF have taken a more thematic approach of rotating LP album “sides” or featuring longer, multi-section epics, including “Dogs” from PF’s 1977 Animals album. And, when the time is right, they have even been known to perform that most celebrated and desired epic in Pink Floyd history, “Echoes,” from the 1971 album Meddle.

Fortunately for fans of this classic Floyd track, as Damian Darlington points out, “Echoes” will once again take center stage in 2022.

“It’s too wonderful of a piece of music to leave lying around too long,” says Darlington, noting that Brit Floyd first performed this dramatic set piece on their 2011 debut tour, then revisited it in 2016. Just two years ago, he adds, BF activated the song again to mark the song’s 50th anniversary on the 2020-21 tours. So now, the anniversary celebration of “Echoes” continues into another year.

“It’s such an emotional journey, with its delicate passages, the ‘funky’ jam, and the mysterious [sounding] middle section,” he says, expressing his personal admiration for the multi-part Floyd masterpiece. “Some [newer] Floyd fans at a show may not recognize it at first, but ‘Echoes’ always makes a big impression on audiences.”

Darlington, who oversees all aspects of Brit Floyd’s production, says that recent solo shows by former Floyd bassist Roger Waters, drummer Nick Mason and guitarist David Gilmour have triggered ideas for updating BF’s shows. That is, when his own “night job” hasn’t gotten in the way.

“I did see Roger’s production of The Wall [in 2010] but missed his last tour, since our schedules overlapped so tightly. We work a lot! But I also got to see David in 2016 and Nick in 2018. You hear things and think, ‘Ohh, we should add that one.’ For example, Nick’s band did ‘Fearless’ [from Meddle]. Definitely a nice addition. So we added it for 2019, and audiences reacted very well.”

Much has been going on with Brit Floyd and much lies ahead, Darlington summarizes. As he notes, BF recently broke new ground, with a brief, first-ever tour of Japan, in late winter of 2019. And they periodically document tours visually with DVD releases, such as the very successful Live at Red Rocks set, although a new DVD has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, he adds, fans can expect more set list experimentation down the road.

This could even include adding “a solo song each” from the post-Floyd careers of David Gilmour and Roger Waters, he says, to add a “sense of their continuing creative legacies” beyond Pink Floyd.

“This is wonderful music to perform, and demand for it is strong all around the world,” says Darlington, who had spent 17 years in his band’s other major competitor, the Australian Pink Floyd Show, before launching Brit Floyd himself in 2011. “And there’s no sign of it stopping anytime soon.”

Brit Floyd, hailed as “the world’s greatest Pink Floyd show,” will return to 1 st Summit Arena at Cambria County War Memorial for an 8 pm show on Saturday, April 30.

Hailed by critics worldwide, Brit Floyd’s concerts faithfully recreate the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning multi-million-dollar light show, iconic circle screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

The band, making their ninth performance at the arena, will bring a new production to Johnstown as part of their 2022 world tour.

The show includes highlights from Pink Floyd albums including “The Wall,” “Dark Side of the Moon,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Animals” and “The Division Bell.  Highlights include a 23-minute note-for-note performance of the signature Pink Floyd song “Echoes,” which debuted on Pink Floyd’s 1971 breakthrough album “Meddle.”

Having performed more than 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, Brit Floyd have sold out shows across Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East.  The band have performed concerts at some of the world’s greatest venues, including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

Tickets for Brit Floyd at 1st Summit Arena on April 30, 2022, start at $39.  Tickets will be available for pre-sale on Thursday, January 13 and on sale for the general public starting Friday, January 14.

Pink Floyd's Nick Mason Announces Additional 2022 North American Tour

Tickets are going on sale beginning Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00 am local time.

Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets today announced rescheduled dates for The Echoes Tour with 28 stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada including Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. The Echoes Tour has also added dates in Columbus, Minneapolis, Detroit, Buffalo, Indianapolis, Tulsa, Austin, and Santa Barbara, with tickets going on sale beginning Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00 am local time.

The Echoes Tour, previously set for January/February 2022, was postponed out of an abundance of caution due to surges of Coronavirus cases. For rescheduled shows that will be taking place at the same venue, all previously

purchased tickets will be valid for the new date. For all shows being moved to new venues, customers will be automatically refunded for their purchase and offered an exclusive presale opportunity for the new venue and date. Further information will be sent directly to the original ticketholders by email shortly, and for any additional ticketing inquiries, fans should reach out to their point of purchase.

"We are really looking forward to returning to North America and we're happy to be able to now announce these new dates for later this year," says Nick Mason. "We wanted to make sure to come back when it's safe for our fans, the band, and our crew."

Brit Floyd, “The World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Show” returns to The VETS in 2022 to perform its brand new production. Including highlights from The Wall, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Division Bell, and featuring a show stopping 23 minute 'note-for-note’ performance of the iconic era defining song Echoes, written 50 years ago, and from Pink Floyd's breakthrough 1971 album Meddle.

The Brit Floyd show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest rock tribute show. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning multi million dollar light show, iconic circle screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

VIP Soundcheck Experience Includes an exclusive tour pass lanyard, a private preview performance of two Pink Floyd songs, and a meet and greet with the group. This is a preshow event.

Tickets are available for purchase online, by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), or at the PPAC Box Office located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. Box Office Hours are M-F, 10A–5P; Sat 10A-2P. Summer hours are M-Th 10A-3P. The VETS on-site Box Office is only open on show days. Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend performances unless it is designated as a family show. Please call the Box Office at (401) 421-2787 to see which shows are appropriate for younger children. All persons regardless of age are required to have a ticket for family shows. Brit Floyd to return to Wilson Center as part of 2024 ‘P-U-L-S-E’ tour

W ILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Pink Floyd tribute Brit Floyd is scheduled to return to the Wilson Center Thursday, July 25, as part of the 2024 P-U-L-S-E World Tour.

According to Cape Fear Community College, the performance, set for 7:30 p.m., will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell album.

“Pink Floyd, an unparalleled pioneer in progressive and psychedelic rock, left an indelible mark on the music industry with their groundbreaking sound and captivating live performances,” the CFCC announcement states. “ The Division Bell , released in 1994, is a testament to their mastery, and three decades later, its enduring impact continues to resonate with fans old and new.

“Brit Floyd P-U-L-S-E is not just a tour; it’s a journey through time, a tribute to the timeless artistry of Pink Floyd. Known for their unwavering dedication to recreating the magic of Pink Floyd’s music, Brit Floyd is the perfect ensemble to honor The Division Bell. Audiences can expect a breathtaking audiovisual experience that pays homage to the original band’s unique music and visual effects blend.”

Tickets will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 for Wilson Center Members. The public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Those interested may purchase tickets online through the Wilson Center website or by contacting the Ticket Central box office at (910) 362-7999. The box office is open for telephone and in-person sales from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“P-U-L-S-E will captivate fans with a stunning setlist featuring tracks from The Division Bell and the many beloved classics from Pink Floyd’s extensive discography,” the announcement adds. “Expect to be transported to the heart of Pink Floyd’s universe, complete with a state-of-the-art light show, immersive visuals, and the ethereal sounds that define a generation.”
